Though I have been unable to confirm this elsewhere, InfoWorld is reportingthat Microsoft has released a beta version of a new "Plus!" pack for Windows 98, which will include additional features for the new operating system. The Plus! pack includes backup, disk cleanup, and compression utilities, a new anti-virus utility, an advanced CD player, and some games,according to the report. The original Plus! pack for Windows 95, releasedsimultaneously with that operating system in August 1995, inluded InternetExplorer, Desktop Themes, and other utilities, almost all of which werelater integrated into later builds of Windows. There is no word on whatthe new Plus! pack will cost or when it will become available
