Thanks to Michael Tsang Kwong Yiu for the tip: Microsoft is planning torelease the second service pack for Office 97, known as SR-2, this summervia the Office Web site. Office 97 SR-2 will be a free update to Office 97,consisting of a series of recent fixes, and designed to make it even easierfor customers to deploy Office 97. SR-2 will include currently availabledownloads such as the Microsoft Excel 97 for Windows Auto-RecalculationPatch, as well as a Microsoft PowerPoint 97 file that correctly formatsdates when saving presentations to PowerPoint 4.0. SR-2 will not be are-release of Office 97, nor will it include any new product features.
