When you start Windows XP, you receive:

RUNDLL
Error loading irprops.cpl.
The specified module could not be found.

This error will occur if the Bluetooth Authentication agent is installed and you are missing a required .DLL file, or if the Bluetooth Authentication agent was uninstalled and its' registry Run Value Name still exists.

To resolve this problem:

1. Open Control Panel.

2. Open the Add or Remove Programs applet.

3. Scroll to Bluetooth Authentication agent and press Change/Remove.

4. When the Bluetooth Authentication agent has been removed, close Control Panel.

5. Copy / Paste the following to a BTA.reg file:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun]
"BluetoothAuthenticationAgent"=-

6. Merge the BTA.reg file with your registry, or run regedit /s BTA.reg.

7. Shutdown and restart your computer.

NOTE: If desired, you may now install the Bluetooth Authentication agent.
