JSI Tip 5854. The ACL Editor displays users from a remote domain very slowly?

When you right-click on a file or folder, press Properties, select the Security tab, and try to manage permissions for a user from a remote domain, the SID mapping takes almost 15 seconds for every user in the list.

This behavior occurs because the ACL Editor retrieves detailed information about every user in the list, one at a time.

To circumvent this behavior, grant permissions to groups, as this behavior does NOT occur for groups.
