When you start your Windows XP computer, you receive:

Operating system not found.

When you start the Recovery Console, you receive a error similar to:

Setup did not find any hard drives installed on your computer.

These problems can be caused by a damaged hard disk or if the hard disk is NOT detected by your computer's BIOS.

To resolve this problem, make sure that the hard disk is listed and recognized by the computer's BIOS.If verifying the BIOS settings does NOT resolve this problem, contact your hardware vendor.
