When you start Windows XP, you receive:

Unable to log you on because of an account restriction
Windows could not find c:windowssystem32migpwd.exe.

You might have AutoAdminLogon set to 1 to automatically log on as Administrator, but the Administrator account has been reserved for Safe mode only.

To workaround this problem:

1. Hold down the SHIFT key an log on as another member of the Administrators group.

2. Use the Registry Editor to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogon.

3. Double-click the AutoAdminLogon Value Name, a string (REG_SZ) data type, and set the data value to 0.

4. Press OK.

5. Exit the Registry Editor.

6. Restart your computer.
