When you invoke the SAS (Secure Attention Sequence (CTRL+ALT+DEL)), the title of the dialog box is:
From the Welcome to Windows screen | Log On to Windows |
---|---|
When you are already logged on | Windows Security |
You can append information to these titles:
1. Use the registry editor to navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogon
2. Add value name Welcome, a string (REG_SZ) data type, and type the text you wish to append.
3. If you typed:
- JSI, Inc.
invoking the SAS while you are logged on would display:
Windows Security - JSI, Inc.
