In the Tools, Mailbox Cleanup dialog box in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, what do the Delete all alternate versions of items in your mailbox option and the View Conflicts Size button do?

One improvement in Outlook 2003 is better handling of conflicts that can occur when an item is edited more than once. Instead of showing the user multiple versions of the item, Outlook determines which version to keep and shows the user that version, putting any conflicting versions in a Sync IssuesConflicts folder in the mailbox. The View Conflicts Size button on the Mailbox Cleanup dialog box shows the amount of space occupied by the Sync IssuesConflicts folder. The Delete all alternate versions of items in your mailbox option clears the contents of the folder.
