Can I delete all unopened mail in Outlook? I receive a lot of spam, and I'd like to open and read all the legitimate messages, then delete everything else.

Outlook includes an Unread Messages view that might help you with this task. With your Inbox open, choose View, Current View, Unread Messages. (In Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, choose View, Arrange By, Current View, Unread Messages in This Folder.) Outlook will filter the view to show only the messages you haven't opened. You can then select them all and delete them.
