A. Wyse, a company that produces a number of thin terminals, has released an RDP 6.0 compatible client for the iPhone that also supports VMware View.

The client costs $20 from the Apple store. It allows you to configure multiple configurations for connectivity that then be connected to with a single click.

After using for a short time, I've found it works fine. Obviously, the screen area is pretty small, but the client can provide an onscreen keyboard and nice mouse functionality. The client is RDP 6.0 compliant, but note that it doesn't support TS Gateway or Aero.

The application is smart enough to distinguish between finger drags to move around the windowed area of the connection and clicks to actually interact with the remote desktop. Search for Wyse on the iTunes store or click here.
