SonicWALL Announces Equinux VPN Tracker Support

SonicWALL announced a new relationship with equinux USA in which equinux will provide interoperability of its VPN Tracker software for network access through SonicWALL's firewall and VPN appliance technology. VPN Tracker runs on Mac OS X and allows connectivity to a range of VPN technologies including software-based VPNs built into Windows XP and the open-source software(OSS) FreeS/WAN for Linux. According to equinux's list of compatible solutions, VPN Tracker also interoperates with a wide variety of hardware-based VPNs, including ZyXEL ZyWALL, WatchGuard Firebox, Draytek Vigor, NetScreen, Cisco PIX, and Nortel Networks Contivity. VPN Tracker pricing starts at $79 for a single license with discounts for volume licensing.
