JSI Tip 5926. Your Windows XP firewall client issues 'Error code %d' when you Update Now?

If you upgraded to Windows XP Professional from an operating system that had a firewall client installed, and you press the Update Now button on the firewall client, you may receive:

Error code %d.

This behavior is expected, unless you are logged on as a member of the Administrators group.

Windows XP Professional requires administrative privileges to press the Update Now button on the firewall client.
