AutoComplete anticipates what you are typing and gives you the ability to type with just a few keystrokes.

For example, try this in Word: type ‘Febr’ and you’ll notice a tip appears that says ‘February.’ If that is indeed what you are typing, you can simply press enter and AutoComplete will finish the typing for you.

To accept an AutoComplete tip:

  • Press ENTER to accept an AutoComplete ‘tip’ or suggestion.

To reject an AutoComplete tip:

  • Continue typing your desired text. When AutoComplete realizes it was incorrect, the AutoComplete suggestion will disappear automatically.
