When you restart your computer, folder shares on iSCSI (Internet SCSI) disk devices are NOT recreated.

This behavior occurs because the iSCSI Initiator service is not initialized prior to the Server service.

To resolve this problem:

1. Open a CMD.EXE window.

2. Type the following commands, pressing Enter after each line:

sc config LanManServer depend= MSiSCSI
iscsicli BindPersistentVolumes

NOTE: The SC.EXE utility is built into Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. It is also available in the Windows 2000 Resource Kit.
