JSI Tip 8476. The MUI functionality in Outlook Express 6.0 SP1 is affected by the MS03-014 cumulative update for Outlook Express?

When you install a localized MUI (Multi User Interface) in Outlook Express 6.0 Service Pack 1, the menus appear in English.

This behavior occurs when you apply the MS03-014: April, 2003, cumulative patch for Outlook Express.

To fix this problem:

1. Copy / Paste the following into a empty Notepad.exe window:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftInternet ExplorerInternational]
"msimn.exe"="6.0.2600.0-6.0.9999.9999"

2. Save the file as fixMS03014.txt.

3. Open a CMD.EXE window.

4. Type the following command and press Enter:

regedit /s fixMS03014.txt
