If you have IIS (Internet Information Services) 5.0 installed on Windows 2000, and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) connections are enabled on the computer, you may experience the subject behavior if an IIS 5.0 Web site is configured for certificate mapping, and a client requests information that requires SSL authentication.

This behavior will be fixed in a future hotfix or service pack.
