JSI Tip 0783. How do I hide the Security tab?

The Security tab, used to manage permissions of files and folders on an NTFS partition, is controlled by %SystemRoot%System32Rshx32.dll. Normally, everyone has read permission to this file and Administrator has Full Control.

To hide the Security tab, simply remove permissions from the everyone group and add appropriate permissions to selected users and/or groups.

You will need to restart your computer.
