In tip 263, we saw that your default printer was set at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWindowsDevice as a type REG_SZ value. The default string value is PrinterName,winspool,LPT1:

When you log off, the default printer is stored as DeviceOld, a type REG_SZ value at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERPrinters.
