In documents where you are entering information into a form at the top of the document that is used to automate content within the document, you often do not want the form itself to print. The form should only be visible on screen to allow you to enter information efficiently.

To do this, format the form as hidden text (Format → Font ? Hidden text). Enable the display of hidden text on screen (Tools ? Options ? View ? Hidden text) and disable it for printing (Tools ? Options ? Print ? Hidden text).
