Goodbye Big Data, Hello All Data?
You need a strategy for all your data

Does Big Data really mean anything anymore? Or, for SQL Server professionals, has the term "Big Data" always just been irrelevant, over-hyped, vendor jargon?
Following the release of SQL Server 2014 and the democratization of data, it appears that "traditional data" and Big Data are merging. The ability to have traditional databases like SQL Server integrated with Hadoop, NoSQL, and Big Data seems to be a smart plan for organizations.
In On the Death of Big Data, David Ramel with ADT Mag lays out a great argument that Big Data is now "all data." Other phrases I'm now seeing include "data lake" and "smart data."
