Product Review: Omaker Rugged, Splash Proof Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker
The Omaker Bluetooth speaker is a splash proof, rugged carry-along capable of delivering tunes on the go.

Omaker has an interesting marketing plan. Several of the company's electronic products are touted as the "most powerful" or "most intelligent." Seriously. Take a look through the company's Amazon listings and you'll see that those descriptions are part of the actual product name.
So, it should come as no surprise that I would be reviewing a Bluetooth speaker from the company that is the "best outdoor and shower Bluetooth speaker ever." If you say something enough times you might start to believe it – at least that's how the idea goes.
Is this Bluetooth speaker truly the best ever? In a crowded electronics market that is constantly being supplied by foreign duplicates, it's tough to be the best at anything. But, while the Omaker Bluetooth speaker may not be the best ever, it does offer some features that make it a worthy buy, particularly if you need to invest in a gift for a family member or friend.
The speaker does what the company says it does, and I've yet to ding it on anything, except maybe for the price. For what the Omaker speaker does, compared to what others do, too, the price is a bit steep at around $34.00.
The construction is solid and definitely supports the "rugged" classification. The sound isn't stellar, but isn't bad, either. For someone that wants to hole-away in the mountains for a long-weekend, the speaker would supply adequate sound for a camp clearing.
