You hear buzzing, clicking, and/or popping sounds from your laptop speaker when connected via a CardBus/PCMCIA wireless 802.11 adapter.
Chances are that the sound card on your laptop is not shielded properly. If the card is located near the wireless adapter slot, the radio energy comes through your speakers as noise.
Contact your laptop manufacturer to see if a fix is available.
