Continuing to show different ways in which Microsoft hopes to bring a data culture to every organization, the company announced that it is increasing OneDrive for Business storage from 25GBs to 1TB per user. Additionally, Microsoft announced that all Office 365 ProPlus customers will get 1TB of OneDrive for Business storage per user, as part of their subscription.

Emphasizing that existing solutions in the marketplace often fail to provide a holistic approach that meets the needs of a cloud first, mobile first workstyle, Microsoft asserted that OneDrive for Business coupled with tight Office 365 integration provides organizations with enterprise-class productivity.

In an effort to bring more organizations onto Microsoft’s service, the company also announced that it will help organizations migrate their existing data over to OneDrive for Business. Coupled with the company’s recent promotional pricing announcement, OneDrive for Business is certaintly shaping up to be an attractive option for organizations who are looking for a comprehensive business solution in the cloud.
