Disaster recovery (DR) has become an almost prohibitively expensive endeavor for the majority of businesses. Traditional DR methodologies require an investment in backup technology (storage, software and hardware), and in many cases a duplicate expenditure in basic IT components. For years, businesses were forced to own two of everything to meet expeditious recovery goals.
That was then. Today, a viable, affordable alternative to traditional DR exists; it leverages the efficiencies of the cloud, and delivers the cost savings offered by economies of scale and automation. This new DR ideology is called Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), which effectively shifts all of the traditional DR infrastructure, expertise, and labor burdens to a secure cloud entity.
Not only has DRaaS proven its value in the real world, it has delivered significant savings to adopters and proven to be a reliable and simpler methodology for mitigating the impact of any disaster.
This webinar will cover:
What is DRaaS
What to look for in DRaaS solution
The economic viability of DRaaS
Best practices for adopting DRaaS
