PRISM is Killing the US Cloud Economy

The Cloud Security Alliance has just released a report that reveals data from a survey indicating that the majority of overseas businesses are now less likely to consider a US Cloud service provider. In fact, 10% of those surveyed have already cancelled contracts with US providers as a result of PRISM revelations.

The report is available for download from here:  Government Access to Information Survey Results

Incidentally, this is not just affecting non-US companies' considerations about using a US-based provider. An offline comment on a recent article about HP losing a large VA contract indicated that the VA (a US government agency) nixed the contract because THEY were concerned about PRISM.
