As its silver anniversary approaches, Information Builders adopted a new corporate identity aimed at positioning the company as a comprehensive IT solution leader.Adopting the slogan “i-business Changes Everything,” the company plans a print advertising campaign in news and business publications, as well as information technology magazines. The company will launch an international advertising campaign in first-quarter 2000.“i-business means integrating and leveraging every critical piece of a corporation’s data, regardless of origin, and delivering it over the Web as valuable and usable information,” says Gerald Cohen, Information Builders’ president and CEO. “The information can then be easily accessed and shared by employees, customers, and business partners around the globe.”The ultimate goal is to expand globally and become a billion dollar corporation by adding authorized integrators and Value Added Resellers that can help the company sell into mid-size companies and within specialized vertical markets, according to Michael Corcoran, Information Builders marketing vice president.“In addition, we’ll continue to strengthen our partnerships with other technology leaders, because we believe our technology can add complementary value and functionality to some of their enterprise solutions,” says Corcoran.
