Microsoft provides no commands or utilities to manage Windows NT's boot loader. Gilles Vollant Software's BootPart utility lets you easily add new OS installations to the boot.ini file without forcing you to manually edit the file. BootPart uses a command-line interface to let you specify the partition type and location for an OS that you're adding, and the utility automatically creates a new boot loader menu entry. In addition, BootPart 2.2 lets you dynamically generate an MS-DOS 6.22 or Windows 95-style boot sector file. To accomplish this feat previously, you had to purposely overwrite the NT boot sector, then use NT Setup's repair feature to create the boot sector file.
