EMET 4.1 Gets Its Own Update 1 Today, 4.0 Gets a Fix It
EMET 4.1 Update 1 is available today along with a certificate update for EMET 4.0.

In light of the still unpatched vulnerability in Internet Explorer announced this past weekend, Microsoft is making an Update available for its Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET). Following the tradition set by Windows 8.1, Update 1 is available for EMET 4.1 and includes the following new functionality and updates:
Updated default protection profiles, Certificate Trust rules, and Group Policy Object configuration.
Shared remote desktop environments are now supported on Windows servers where EMET is installed.
Windows Event logging mechanism allows for more accurate reporting in multi-user scenarios.
Addressed several application-compatibility enhancements and mitigation false positive reporting.

Also, as a bonus, those using EMET 4.0 can get an update today that incorporates the latest SSL/TLS certificates for third-party web sites and updates the default Certificate Trust rules.
