Microsoft Tops the List of MSP Portfolios
When asked which cloud services they use to drive revenues with customers, more MSPs cited Microsoft Office 365 (77%) than any other cloud-based application. Microsoft Windows Azure was leveraged by 34% of MSPs.

Managed service providers enjoyed tremendous growth last year. That’s according to MSPmentor.net, which released its list of the top MSPmentor 501 companies this week, along with data about market trends for managed service providers. Combined, the total annual recurring revenues for all of MSPmentor 501 2015 companies reached a record high of $3.95 billion in 2014, up 26.5 percent.
And Microsoft technology remains a big part of MSP portfolios, according to this year’s research. When asked which cloud services they use to drive revenues with customers, more MSPs cited Microsoft Office 365 (77%) than any other cloud-based application. Microsoft Windows Azure was leveraged by 34% of MSPs.

The survey was conducted from December 2014 through January 2015. Rankings are based on an internal formula that factors key metrics for MSPs such as annual recurring revenues, total revenues, number of employees, devices and users under management, among other factors.
