Q: If I use Azure Site Recovery and have failed over to Azure, does it replicate back to on-premises continuously?
A: No. Once you've failed over to Azure, there's no continuous replication back to on-premises. Instead, the protection in Azure is through the use of georeplicated storage, which means if something happens to the Azure data center, then the storage will be available at the paired data center hundreds of miles away. When you want to fail back to on-premises, the state is then replicated back to on-premises and the failover is performed.
