You want a more secure environment. But while you’re likely employing some form of perimeter security, such as firewalls, intrusion detection, encrypted data transfer or other similar methods, are you paying attention to what is happening at the device level? A significant number of security breaches occur because of breakdowns at system or end-user level due to devices that are not properly patched, users downloading unauthorized and unsafe software, systems that are in violation of your secure configuration policies or, in some cases, devices that are on your network that you did not know existed.
Join this webcast and learn what IDC research manager Robert Young has to say about improving security through more comprehensive systems management of your connected endpoints.
What you will learn:
How a unified approach to systems management for all your connected devices can help with security and compliance
Best methods for discovering and updating all devices connected to your environment
How to protect complex, multi-platform environments
What other devices you should worry about as the Internet of Things enters your enterprise
One lucky attendee will win a Dell XPS 10 tablet.* All attendees will receive the new IDC Analyst Connection, “Improving Endpoint Security through More Comprehensive Systems Management.”
