VMware Announces Virtual Campus
At VMworld Europe 2009, VMware announced a new training center to boost third-party sales.

In a partner-focused move that takes a page out of Microsoft's playbook, VMware announced a new virtual campus for training partners to more successfully sell VMware solutions, with the intention of driving more end customers to VMware products.

VMware Partner University is designed to help VMware’s ecosystem partners accelerate sales and increase revenue by selling VMware solutions. This next-generation training program consolidates all available education resources from VMware under one central training framework, helping partners build highly successful and profitable virtualization practices.
