Syncfusion has released Metro Studio 2, a suite of more than 1,700 vector-based Windows 8 application icons that are customizable. Originally released in March 2012, the suite is free for the development community. The latest version includes several improvements including the following:
Users can customize and export multiple icons at the same time.
Web developers have access to several icon sprites.
Users can copy icons to their clipboard for easy integration with Microsoft Office applications.
Developers can customize text as icon shapes.
Additionally, Syncfusion has made a series of free eBooks available to developers. jQuery Succinctly focuses on essential and intermediate concepts for advanced jQuery development.
