Q: I'm playing a 3D game on my Xbox 360, and the TV display shows two pictures next to each other rather than a 3D image—what do I do?

Xbox 360 cheat? No, just a tip.

A. New 3D devices support the HDMI 1.4 specification, which allows the 3D source to tell the 3D display the type of 3D that’s being used (e.g., side-by-side vs. checkerboard). The Xbox 360 doesn’t currently support notifying the display of the type of 3D being used.

When playing a 3D game on Xbox 360, you need to manually set the display to the correct 3D format, which will normally be side-by-side. After you finish playing a 3D game, you will need to set the display back to 2D.
