Q: How do you access the Windows 8 charms with the keyboard?

Windows 8 Charms access via a keyboard, for the GUI-less among you.

A: Charms are the small set of five icons in Windows 8 that contain the Start button, Search, Share, Devices, and Settings (see the screen shot below). They offer a quick access point to the key Windows 8 launch areas and are contextual based on the current focus of the user.





The Charms can be accessed by touch, swiping from the right side of the screen inwards, which shows the charms along the right side of the screen.

Or you can use a keyboard shortcut: WinKey+C displays them in the bottom left corner. WinKey+C+Shift displays the charms on the right side of the screen, at the charms bar.
