Patch Tuesday: One April Update Applicable to Windows 10 Build 10049

As Microsoft's updates roll out each month, it's interesting now to watch to see which ones might actually apply to the most current Build for Windows 10 PC. The most current Build is 10049 and it rolled out the last week of March.

This month is no exception with one update that is applicable for Windows 10 Build 10049. The update is an obvious one, considering that Windows 10 will continue to support Internet Explorer 11 when released, despite sporting a new web browser, Project Spartan.

The update is part of Microsoft Security Bulletin MS15-032, which is a cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. The update is available over Windows Update, so Windows 10 PCs can pick it up in the integrated applet. However, if for some reason you need to install it manually, the download links are available in the KB Article:

MS15-032: Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer: April 14, 2015
