SSMA V2 Beta is being released to web and is available for free download at http://www.microsoft.com/sql/migration/ssmav2beta.mspx.   Some new features in SSMA V2 beta include:

• Migration from Oracle to SQL Server 2005 or 2000. Greatly improved PL/SQL to Transact-SQL conversion engine.

• Globalization support. SSMA V2 automates migration of Oracle database with localized data or business logic. SSMA UI currently only supports English.

• New Tester Wizard which greatly simplifies user interface of Tester component. It's now much easier to test your converted code. Refer to the Tester section of the SQL Server Migration Assistant User Manual for a detailed guide of the wizard.
