Navision Software US announced that the next version of Navision Financials will offer Microsoft Windows 2000 benefits.

Navision Software US announced that the next version of Navision Financials will offer Microsoft Windows 2000 benefits. Navision Financials 2.60 received the Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional logo and is due for a first-quarter 2000 release.Even users of earlier versions of Navision Financials will be able to take advantage of the Windows 2000 platform, company officials say. Navision Software is ensuring that users can migrate from earlier versions to the latest Microsoft operating system.“Windows 2000 offers just the sort of functionality our customers need today, and we want to make sure all of our customers can use it,” says René Stockner, Navision Software sales and marketing vice president. The Microsoft alliance gives Navision Software customers the best of both worlds: Windows 2000 provides Internet access and the ability to reduce system administration costs, and Navision Financials offers smooth, customizable implementation, according to Stockner.“Microsoft’s Windows 2000 program has stringent guidelines, but Navision Software passed with flying colors,” says Carel Talens, alliance business manager, Microsoft EMEA.Navision Software has more than 800 Navision Solution Centers worldwide, with 34,000 installations in 89 countries and 23 country-specific versions.
