Monitor Java App Performance for the R2 Previews

As we trod closer and closer to the public release of a finished and polished set of R2 releases (Windows Server 2012 R2 and System Center 2012 R2), Microsoft continues to sweeten the offering. A new Management Pack (MP) has been released that provides monitoring for Java application performance within the organization, enabling organizations running the preview versions of Windows Server 2012 and System Center 2012 Operations Manager to peek into the health of applications developed using Java.

This is a valuable MP, considering Java is notorious for being a performance hog and Java applications being poorly constructed.
