Minify, minify

Our favorite DNN developer Kristian gave us a walk-through of some sites we manage, and he also showed us some favorite tools. It's likely you might not need some of them, but I found them interesting to read up on. (Not the least of which because dev tools usually have great names. Which must be why devs' dogs have great names. And devs' kids.)

yslow: YSlow is a Firefox add-on integrated with the Firebug web development too. It analyzes web pages and suggests performance improvements.

httpfox: HttpFox brings to Firefox the functionality from such tools as Httpwatch and IEInspector. It monitors and analyzes all incoming and outgoing HTTP traffic between the browser and the web servers.

smush.it: Smush.it optimizes images without changing their look or visual quality.

I expect you already know what minify means and does. But here's a link if you need a refresher.
