Microsoft will finally begin limited beta testing and public demonstrations of Internet Explorer 4.0 the week of February 24. The new browser has been in alpha since last August. New features include an integrated shell that includes a customizable, dockable tool bar, a new Search Pane, "AutoComplete" address box typing, a new method for accessing favorite sites, and the ability to access navigation history through the Back and Forward buttons.
The new release also features improved printing support with the ability to print individual frames easily. Users can install the shell upgrade or opt for the full-blown Active Desktop
