I love it. Microsoft posted a great news program to their Web site lastweek called News Viewer. It was just like PointCast, only nicer, and itwas a 32-bit application. A few days later, the News Viewer pages disappear as Microsoft signs an agreement with PointCast to grant them a"premier spot" on the Internet Explorer 4.0 Active Desktop. Now, MS isclaiming that News Viewer, a "test" program, was posted "by mistake".Yeah, right. In reality, News Viewer was meant to go against PointCast, who was just about to sign a similar agreement with Netscape. It turns outthat Microsoft was able to jump in and make a better offer, ruining theNetscape deal. I hope all the News Viewer programmers understand
