Mel Beckman has built two regional Internet service providers and is currently president of Beckman Software Engineering, a technical consultancy specializing in large-scale, high-bandwidth networks. His past clients include Apple Computer, the City and County of Santa Barbara, DuPont Displays, IBM, Loral Federal Systems, United Airlines, the US Department of Agriculture, and the US Department of Energy. Mel has presented seminars on computer programming and network technology throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Doug Miller has worked in the enterprise and government IT space for over 25 years. For the past 10 years, Doug has been the principal consultant with Milltech Consulting, a company focused on business and technical consulting in the areas of interoperability, identity management, cloud computing and competitive strategy.  Doug was formerly the CEO and co-founder of Softway Systems, the creators of the Interix UNIX subsystem for Windows. The company was acquired by Microsoft in 1999 and Doug moved to Microsoft where he held various positions until 2004 including heading up competitive strategy for the Windows Server business and leading the enterprise migration solution group.
