After an app is updated on my Surface Pro 3 or Windows Phone, checking update logs is a favorite pastime of mine to see if I can tell if there are any new features to take advantage of, or if the update is just a bunch of bug fixes. But, there are a few apps that provide little or no detail about updates.
Microsoft is pretty good at providing in app feedback, and the Microsoft Health app is no exception. The update that came through last night makes it pretty obvious that a bug fix delivered.
To find the update information for Windows Phone apps, open the Store, got to Downloads, History, tap the app you want information on in the list, and swipe over to Details.
But, what if you want more than what the update log provides?
Just like Microsoft has done with the Surface tablet models, the company has also provided an Update History page for Microsoft Band.
The Microsoft Band and Microsoft Health app update history page provides the version numbers and release dates the Windows Phone Health app, the Band Sync app for Windows, the Microsoft Band firmware, and the other Health and sync apps for supported platforms (iOS, Android, Mac).
Additionally, just like the Surface tablet pages, it separates the update information by month, making it easier to see when new features and bug fixes were delivered.
