Chances are, your organization hasn't put too much thought into Exchange 2010 just yet. After all, the Exchange 2010 Release Candidate just became available for download last week. But, wouldn’t it be nice to have an understanding of the features and benefits of Exchange 2010 before your boss inquires about it?

While its primary goal probably isn't to help you ace your performance review, Microsoft has released some free, in-depth content about Exchange 2010. First off, Microsoft has made available a free, 67-page PDF download of chapters 1 (Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Administration Overview) and 6 (Mailbox Administration) of Exchange Server 2010 Administrator's Pocket Consultant.

Additionally, Microsoft is offering three eLearning Clinics on Exchange 2010: Collection 6899: Exploring Features of Exchange Server 2010, Clinic 6900: Introduction to Exchange Server 2010, and Clinic 6901: Exchange Server 2010 in an Enterprise. I should note, however, that the eLearning Clinics do require you to register with the site.

Fellow editor B. K. Winstead is keeping vigilant of all things Exchange 2010, so you might poke through his recent posts for a valuable chronology of Exchange 2010. (I've also put some of the more popular pieces below.)
