Microsoft Releases Windows Intune Company Portal Apps for iOS and Android

During my talk about Windows Intune and System Center Configuration Manager at IT/Dev Connections this year, one of the questions raised was about availability for a corporate app portal app for iOS and Android users. At the time, that offering was not available. Today, Microsoft has announced the iOS piece is officially available and that the Android portion has been released as a preview.

The apps are available now for download from their respective platform stores. The iOS app is available on iTunes and Android app from Google Play.

The apps are available by searching for 'Windows Intune Company Portal' or using the following links:

Windows Intune Company Portal on iTunes

Windows Intune Company Portal on Google Play

Features

  • Company apps – browse, search and install apps made available to you by your company

  • Computer/device enrollment – manage enrollment with Windows Intune for your devices, as well as the ability to remote wipe certain device types

  • Contact IT – easily locate contact information

Note that a valid Windows Intune subscription is required for the apps to work properly.
