Q. Can I configure Active Directory's (AD's) garbage collection to delete more than 5,000 objects at a time?

A. Garbage collection will delete up to 5,000 objects each pass, but if the garbage collection process completes and there are still objects to be cleaned up, garbage collection will automatically rerun itself. You can't change the 5,000-object number for each execution.
