JSI Tip 3587. Active Directory Sites and Services displays duplicate connections?

When you open the Active Directory Sites and Services MMC snap-in, duplicate connections are listed, but only one of the duplicated set is active?

If you manually chose a bridgehead server, the KCC will erroneously create addition connections if the manually chosen bridgehead server is unable to host a connection into or out of the site.

The solution is to let the KCC chose the bridgehead servers.
