The first draft of the Music chapter for Windows 8.1 Book is now complete. This chapter focuses on the Xbox Music app, which has been completed redesigned for Windows 8.1 (and updated as recently as a few days ago).
This update adds sections on importing playlists, purchasing music, reordering music in a playlist, and managing your account and Xbox Music Pass. Due to the evolving nature and complexity of this app, it wouldn't be surprising if further content additions are required, but I want to get moving on the rest of the book.
(That said, I'll be using this content as the basis for a major update to Paul Thurrott's Xbox Music, so I will be revisiting this soon regardless.)
Feedback is always appreciated. I'm thinking about working on a SkyDrive chapter next, but we'll see how that goes.
