Since the Groove Music launched with Windows 10 two years ago it has continued to improve steadily.

In that time frame not only has the app improved on Windows 10 PC and Mobile devices but it has also made its way onto Android and iOS devices. The availability on those two platforms is all part of Microsoft's focus to make their services available across all devices so users have a mobility of their experience no matter their ecosystem of choice.

I have been using Groove Music since those early days and although it lacks a a family subscription plan like Spotify does, which recently arrived on Windows 10 and Xbox One, it has a good selection of music and listening features.

Those things have made it a great music ecosystem for me and I know many others enjoy it as well however, I continually hear about users whom have not yet tried it out for any extended length of time.

Well how would a seven month testing period of Groove Music work for you? Does it get any sweeter if I tell you that Microsoft is offering that kind of a deal and it will only cost you less than one months membership with Groove Music?

For Labor Day 2017 here in the United States Microsoft is offering such a deal for new Groove Music users in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Mexico. For just $9.99 you will purchase one month of Groove Music and then receive two 3-month promo codes that will give you a full seven months of Groove Music.

Of course, it is just like a normal subscription and is not crippled in anyway so you get the full benefits of the pass which includes online and offline streaming to up to 10 devices.

Did I mention no ads either?

This deal is available between now and midnight Pacific Time on the 5th of September.

Here is all of the small print:

"Offer valid 12:00 AM PT August 29, 2017 until 12:00 AM PT September 5, 2017 or while supplies last. For new subscribers only. Valid in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Mexico. Sign up for a 30-day Groove Music Pass at $9.99 and we will send you two tokens within 30 days, each good for an additional 3 months of music at no charge (6 months total). Credit card required. Upon completion of the promotional period, membership will be automatically billed as specified at signup unless cancelled. Tokens expire October 31, 2017 and must be redeemed before that date. Token codes may be used by original recipient or transferred to another eligible user. Token codes may only be redeemed once. Limit 2 token codes per person. Cannot redeemed for cash or promo code(s). May not be combinable with other offers. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Microsoft reserves the right to modify or discontinue offers at any time. Other exclusions and limits may apply. Microsoft account and Internet required; ISP fees apply."

All you have to do if you choose not to remain a subscriber is cancel the subscription through your Microsoft Account at http://account.microsoft.com prior to the renewal date provided when you sign up.

Let us know what you think of Groove Music if you try this offer out.
